    Hi,

Thank you for this amazing plugin. My client used this to their websites and some of their pages. I would like to know if is there a way to reduce the google map request cost if the user(same user IP) to keep visiting/load the page. Like if the user visit the site/page more or less 10 times, the google map should only request once since its the same user IP/data.

I am thinking to use either cache or cookies but I would like to know if this customization achievable with this plugin.

Looking forward of your fast response.

    Regards,

Hi there, and thanks for your kind words.

Well, Wp Store Locator does have an internal transient cache enabled by default, but it is not customizable. It should, though, be good enough to help reduce requests for the most common scenario, that is, the initial page load where your default settings are applied (default start point and number of stores loaded, etc).

If you are really concerned about Google Maps API usage, there are some things that can help, like disabling auto-complete in the search box, or even setting up billing alerts in your Google Cloud console platform.

That is all you have at your disposal with our plugin, I hope that helps.

    Best regards,
