Reduce database without losing all data.

  • First of all thank?you for the fabulous?plugin.?It is worth any money.

    Is there any possibility to reduce the size of the database(table?cerber_traffic)?without?losing all data?
    1. I need data for 3 months but:
    a)only for logged in users.?
    b) for logged in users, only log for: log in; log out; session, no needed other traffic.

    2. or it is possible?to clear ‘smart” data ( one week) without?losing?the “minimal” one.

    Would you tell me what is the best way to do this?cleansing??

    A few days later the table?cerber_traffic was about 400MB after?2 months. Then I decided to try the “smart” option instead of?‘minimal’.And now table?cerber_traffic is huge, it has 2GB and 3 500 000 records.

    Hi!

    The security algorithms of WP Cerber do not use data from the Traffic Inspector log to protect a website. This log is logged for analytics and diagnostic purposes. So you can completely empty the log with no consequences.

    To reduce the log size and avoid excessive logging, you can optimize settings and reduce the amount of data stored in the log in the “Traffic Logging” section (Traffic Inspector -> Settings).

    To selectively delete rows from the log, you can run an SQL query using a database admin tool or via a PHP script. Let me know if you need more info on that.
