Because of the way I use the galleries with amp pages the best way for me to add galleries is still with a basic shortcode instead of using your gallery block. So to find the shortcode id number for a gallery I have to go to your galleries page. However after uploading many galleries there are hundreds of small thumbnails on that page and it’s getting slow and hard to view. As I add more I’m thinking it will get even worse.

Could you consider making a more optimized way to find the shortcode id for a particular gallery, or at least make the gallery folders collapsable? For example turning on the active filters and explorer for the media library is a nice way to view the galleries. However the shortcode id can’t be found there, unless I’m missing something. Thanks!

It would be better if it’s available in the Media Library, right? I have an idea, which is very easy to add/test and might be good for you too. Let’s say you are using the “Explorer” feature. Do you see the little gallery icon on the left of the gallery name? When this is clicked, an alert box could be displayed with the ID of that gallery. As simple as that, for now. That would be good?

I just tried the update, that is just what I needed. With that I don’t think there is any need to go into the gallery page anymore.
