    Hi all,

We recently started getting a surge of spam registrations on our store.

They come in via our contact form: https://www.fineleatherworking.com/contact-us/
And also via our registration page: https://www.fineleatherworking.com/my-account/

For now, we are primarily concerned with eliminating spam registrations that come in via the registration page. We do have reCAPTCHA on both of the above pages but spam registrations still come through.

What other suggestions do you have to mitigate this? We run WooCommerce for our store. Would this be a WooCommerce fix or a regular WordPress fix?

    Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your help. In taking a look at the link provided:

    1. Our basic settings match those recommended.
    2. We use Akismet plugin.
    3. The anti-spam plugin recommended by webvitalii no longer comes recommended.
    4. We use Google’s Recaptcha service and WP Forms: Our store registration form uses the former and our contact us form uses both.

    Please help! Thanks.

Giving this thread another bump. Please see my last comment. Does anyone have any thoughts on how we can further prevent contact form and registration spam?
