Redux Framework UI with latest WP

I’m about to start work on a new theme, but I don’t like the new WordPress Customizer. I’d like to use the Redux options framework that I’ve been used for years. Is there a way to create a theme, and still use the Redux with their old user interface, even with the latest wordpress version? If yes, I can’t find any info about this, so I would appreciate some links. Thanks!
