• Hi everyone,
    6 months ago, the Javascript of my admin pages stopped working. I don’t remember what I had changed on the site when it happened …
    ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
    … is the error I got (Firebug.)

    I found on a forum that it could be solved by changing this option (from true to false) in the wp-conif.php file :
    define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);

    It worked but slowed down my site a lot. I then thought it was not a big issue … but I changed my mind : it is !
    If I set the option back to true my site is fast again but no more JS in the admin pages …
    Any idea to solve this problem ?
    Thanks à lot.
    The problem is not theme dependent.

    Well, I found the answer :

    Bullet Proof Security plugin had to be updated, and the htaccess. of the wp-admin folder had to be updated.
    Note that updating the first does not update the second : You have to follow the usual procedure.

    The former htaccess of the wp-admin folder was causing some sort of conflict I guess.

    Thanks to those who read this post …
