Referral Level

Hi,

Tiers are supported in the premium version Affiliates Enterprise – you can see details on the features in the Tiers section of the documentation.

Does that mean the first affiliate who earned from a referral will still get referral earnings when the referral also gets its own referral earnings?

Here’s an example:

Let’s assume you grant 10% commission for direct referrals and 5% commission to the first tier.

Affiliate A signs up with you and promotes your site. Someone, let’s call him B, clicks A’s link and also signs up to your affiliate program, Affiliate B has now been referred by Affiliate A.

Now B starts to promote your site, too. Mrs. X clicks on B’s affiliate link and makes a purchase for $200 net on your site. B gets a 10% commission on that, i.e. B has earned $20. As A referred B, A gets a 5% commission being in the first tier – A earns $10 off the referral granted to B.

Again, this requires Affiliates Enterprise – it’s not a feature in the free version.

PS : In the above example, you would pay a total of $20 + $10 = $30 in commissions.

Based on that example, it should be 3 levels correct?

The example above would be only one level – affiliate A is in the first level.

An example with three levels would be:

– Affiliate A refers affiliate B
– B refers C
– C refers D

A > B > C > D

If you have three levels, and D refers a customer, then D will get the direct referral and C, B and A would get their commissions too because they are in D’s upline.

This is possible in the free version?

Or just in Pro and Enterprise?
