    Hi Everyone:

I’m using an appointment booking plugin, and that plugin is working fine for its intended purpose. A short code is used to place the appt calendar for that plugin on two different pages, one that’s used by a simple mobile app, and another for everything else. I have two thank you pages, one for mobile app users and one for everyone else. Problem is the appt calendar can only send users to one thank you page. So what I want to do is, if the user is being sent to the standard thank you page but the referring page is the mobile app page, redirect from the standard thank you page to the mobile app thank you page. My understanding was that this plugin could do that, but it’s not working.

When I click “Check Redirect”, it says “Agent: Not using Redirection”. I’m logged into WP with Chrome on a desktop machine. Here’s a link to that error screen shot.

Here’s a link to a screen shot of the settings for this redirect.

My understanding of what these settings say is this.

    • If a browser’s being sent to /book-appt-thanks/
    • And the referring page is /book-appt-app/
    • Redirect the browser to /book-appt-app-thanks/

Am I missing something or do I need to change some other setting in there? I don’t believe there’s any query string present when they’re sent to the thank you page.

Any and all input is appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Scott

The redirect checker won’t check different referrers.

I can’t see the images any more, but referrer information is not consistent and I wouldn’t rely on it always existing.
