Hi, we are trying to block allbrands.com from referring traffic to the site because it looks like it is trying to manipulate google search stats. We have tried every permutation of it including www and not including www, nothing seems to work. This website appears as a referrer in our stats too frequently.
    Can you offer any advice?
    Thanks

Hi @scruffy1 , thanks for reaching out to us.

Can you please confirm the setting you used to block this domain?

If you want to block traffic where the referral headers come from a specific domain, please try this:

    1) Go to Wordfence > Firewall > Blocking
    2) Choose a Custom Pattern
    3) Put *allbrands.com* for the Referrer
    4) Put anything for the block reason

This method, of course, can also be used for other IPs or referrers in the future for similar issues from other sources.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks,

    Mark.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the reply.
We used allbrands.com also tried adding the www in front and nothing. We have resorted to using .Htaccess block it.
allbrands.com is awful and links to outside companies to use their resources such as, if for example, they sell a product and someone else’s website has a manual or video help for help they link directly to that or supply link to it. Essentially they do not spend money but instead use the money other companies have invested to run their business with.
Have a look and decide if it should go on some kind of blocklist.
    Thanks

    Thanks for the update @scruffy1.

Glad to hear that blocking the domain on .htaccess worked for you.

I have forwarded your request to the Threat Intelligence team so they can look into it.

    Thanks,

    Mark
