    Hi Anas,

I greatly appreciate the work you have put in to improve WIT lately, especially the animation issues.

I have a case where the WIT widget always reloads/refreshes to display the contents of the first tab. Is it possible to stop it form doing this? It would be nice if when working on Tab3 to remain in that tab, as you select whatever option available until you select another tab.

    Many thanks,

    Arnold

    Hi Arnold,

What is the first widget that keeps reloading?

WIT already pauses on the tab that is being interacted with, then resumes rotating once the user moves away from it.
Can explain your case in more details?

    Hi Anas,

Thank you for your prompt response. I do not have scroll on.

Yes, WIT remains on the tab that is being interacted with. However, I have a widget that is on tab #3 that has a custom menu. When I select a hyperlink on the menu, WordPress refreshes as it executes the requested command. This refresh causes WIT to also refresh returning Tab #1. It would be good if it remained on tab #3.

I hope the case is clearer now? Unfortunately, the site in question is behind a firewall so I can’t give you access.

    Many Thanks

    Oh, I understand now.
Can’t you just put the custom menu on the first tab?

If nothing can be done it is okay.

I guess it is how the sidebar works within wordpress at the moment.

    Many Thanks,

    Arnold

    No, it can be done.
I’ll add this feature to my todo list.
I’ll update this post when it’s ready.

Feature is now available in WIT 2.2.0.
