    Hi,

I use an external payment service provider (Mollie). When I refund an order through this platform, it assigns the full amount to refunds (in the Woocommerce Analytics feature). It doesn’t change the tax column in any way, but for accurate insights, a portion of the refund should be deducted from the tax columns. Are there any settings within WooCommerce that might help me with this?

I’ve already contacted Mollie, but they say its probably a setting on your side.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards Sander

  • Hello,

May I ask which page in Analytics were you referring to? You can send us a screenshot of the specific section to pinpoint. I recommend?https://snipboard.io?for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Just so you know, we have a documentation page about refunds in Analytics: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-analytics/#analytics-basics__refunds

I’ve also checked the documentation provided by you.

This is were trouble begins (its not how it works in my shop, taxes and shipping arent changed in any way, the full refund amount is assigned to Refunds):

”Refunded shipping charges and refunded taxes are not included in the Refunds summary number or columns. They appear as negative values in the shipping and taxes summary numbers and columns respectively.”

    Hi, @bufsan!

Sorry for the delayed reply here.

As a first step, can you see if regenerating the Analytics data helps? You can do that by following these steps:

    1. Go to Analytics > Settings in your dashboard.
    2. Scroll down to the “Import Historical Data” section and click the “Start” button.

That may take some time to import. You don’t need to remain on the page. It’s fine to leave and come back later.

Once the import has completed, check the Analytics reports again to see if the data is correct now. If it still isn’t, then go back to Analytics > Settings. This time, delete the previously imported data:

Once it’s gone, then run the import tool again. This will give a fresh, complete data set to work with.

If that still doesn’t work to show the correct amounts, can you please share a copy of your System Status Report with us? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”:

Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.
