    I was trying to refund an item because a client had purchased it twice (accidentally). But after pressing on the refund button, the manually return or the gateway return buttons isn’t showing.

    I’m currently on:

    WordPress version: 5.9.3
    WooCommerce version: 6.4.1
    Server info: Apache
    PHP version: 7.4.29
    MySQL version: 5.7.32-35-log

    To ensure that none of the other plugins or theme is interfering with this…I switched to the Storefront theme and disabled all plugins except woocommerce.

    After some searching I found out that it’s the “Woocommerce Payment” which is causing this. So once I turn this plugin off, then and only then the “Refund Manually” button shows up. Once I enable this plugin again…then it no longer shows.

    But if I disable this, then ppl won’t be able to pay on the site. Can you please let me know how to fix this? Thanking you in advance.

    It is expected that the button to refund manually doesn’t show when using WooCommerce Payments.

    We removed this option from WooCommerce Payments because our merchants would not have the option to refund manually using our payment gateway, and the refund needs to be created directly from the WooCommerce order.

    Still, you mentioned that you also don’t see the button to refund using WooCommerce Payments. That part is definitely not expected.

    Considering that we will need to check your WooCommerce Payments account, can you please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support? You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

    Please include the following when creating the ticket:

    – A link to this forum thread.
    – A full screenshot of the order with the order notes.
    – Your System Status Report. You can get it by navigating to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status. Once there, click on the “Get system report” button and then copy it by clicking on the “Copy for support” button.

    We will be able to help you further there.
