    Everything I read says customer refunds should be automatic when using Square for Woocommerce. However, when I did a refund tonight there wasn’t anything automatic happening and the notes said: “Order status set to refunded. To return funds to the customer you will need to issue a refund through your payment gateway.”

    I am using Woocommerce Square Version 2.5.1 | By WooCommerce.

    What did I do wrong. I had to manually go into the dashboard to refund it.

    Hey there,

    That’s odd – you should indeed be able to do automatic refunds through the Square plugin, without going to your Square dashboard.

    Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response. Feel free to remove identifying information such as the site’s URL.
