Refund tracking in woocommerce

    Do we able to track woocommerce refunds. As you know we are able to make refund from admin panel.

  • Hello @ksaltik,

    currently the refund event is not supported. We plan to add it in future releases but most certainly it will require server-side Google Tag Manager container.

    The reason for that is the user performing the refund operation is not the customer tied to the transaction so this event should not be tracked in the browser of operator doing refund. When using server side calls we can provide the same datapoints that were captured during the purchase and tie those events correctly.
