    Hi,

    I was wondering if you could please help. I am having issues with Klarna refund whenever I submit a refund it shows ‘Could not create new refund’. Do you know what normally causes this issue.

    I do not see that error message in the Klarna Order Management for WooCommerce code (https://github.com/krokedil/klarna-order-management-for-woocommerce/search?q=%22Could+not+create+new+refund%22&unscoped_q=%22Could+not+create+new+refund%22). I do not see any refund calls with error response codes in our Klarna logs either (which you can also review via the Logs app in the Klarna Merchant Portal). Next steps would be to review the Woo order notes and Woo order management debug logs. Was the order successfully captured in Klarna (as Klarna refunds are only applicable to successfully completed captured orders)? Order management debug logs are enabled under WooCommerce->Klarna Add-ons, so verify OM debug logs are enabled and then see if that provides any additional debugging information.

    If this error is not due to the Klarna Order Management code though, it would be helpful to determine what code is responsible for the error message to understand the root cause better. If you need support determining that, a screen shot and more information (the Woo debug logs) would be helpful for [email protected]

    Hi Kristi,

    Thank you for getting back to me. I message the support@ to show some more details.

    Our Klarna account says it is captured and on Woo it’s completed, but on the WooCommerce when we process any kind of refund it says ‘Could not create new refund’ and shows on the right side of order with this message ‘Error during status transition. Credentials are required to create a Client’. I have also contacted WooCommerce maybe this issue is on their end. Thank you for your help.

    Closing this ticket as per Krokedil’s response today to the support ticket, this issue is not caused by Klarna plugin code or Klarna, but rather likely due to something else (another plugin?) in the store.
