Since updating Elementor and Elementor Pro the design of my site is messed up. All the content is still there but the design is all over the place and the desktop menu and mobile menu both seem to be displaying vertically. The design is also messed up when I go into the elementor editor and the editor will not work properly. I have troubleshooted in all the ways suggested before contacting support and nothing has worked, nor have I had any response from support.

I contacted my hosting provider and there appears to be no issues on their end. I accessed an older version of my website on a staging site which still seemed to work but I was prompted to update the database for elementor and when I did the same thing happened to the staging site and the design is messed up. Also tried restoring to an older backup but no luck.

I’m assuming it’s an issue accessing the stylesheet for elementor, as the theme styles still seem to be there.

When I go to console in the developer tools on chrome I get these errors:

A cookie associated with a cross-site resource at <URL> was set without the ‘SameSite’ attribute. A future release of Chrome will only deliver cookies with cross-site requests if they are set with ‘SameSite=None’ and ‘Secure’. You can review cookies in developer tools under Application>Storage>Cookies and see more details at <URL> and <URL>.

Can anybody help me with this issue? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think I found a solution for the above. It seemed to be an issue with permissions.

Just incase anyone else ever has a similar issue I followed the steps in this article https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-403-forbidden-error-in-wordpress/ for the section ‘Fix 403 Forbidden Error Caused by File Permissions in WordPress’.

I’m glad you found a solution but please do not see Elementor support in this sub-forum.

Looking at your site, you are an Elementor Pro user. The author can’t have a conversation with customers here. That’s not permitted for anyone.

For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
