Reg permalink Problem

  • Good Evening to all,

    I am new to WordPress and trying to host my first CMS Based Website.that is in the following

    https://www.bizlink.in/

    I have downloaded and hosted the WordPress in my Linux Hosting.i have created Database and user using MySQL? Database Wizard.and given a Database Hostname as Localhost in Wp-config.php file.

    When i try to change the permalink in Settings->Permalink sections its showing nothing.Its blank.I didn’t find any Custom settings in that section.

    I don’t know where i made a mistake.because i am new to WordPress and also PHP & MySql.

    Please help me to solve this problem.

    Re-upload the files through FTP and check the permissions, as noted in the installation instructions.

    Thanks Cathy Tibbles,

    I deleted the old files and re-uploaded the files using https://FTP.But still the custom settings is not viewing in Permalink.

    I tried to find the Mod_rewrite file,but i don’t know where i want to find the files.

    .Htaccess file created in the FTP Account,but its empty.there is no coding inside the file.

    please suggest me what i want to do.
