Regarding merchant ID

  • Hi Guys,

    This plugin mentions using the Merchant ID. I am not clear on what exactly is meant by that. My regular UPI linked with ICICI savings account is working fine outside of this plugin, but not working within the plugin. My another UPI linked with HDFC savings account is working fine with the plugin.

    I created a 20 character paytm merchant ID, even that is not working.

    So, the question is, why is the ICICI saving account linked UPI not able to accept payments, whereas HDFC savings account can.

    Does the merchant ID mean UPI linked to a current account?

    Would appreciate some clarification on these points please.
