• We have an AWeber list of over 1300 subscribers to our magazine. We recently were burned by an associate who shut down our original WP site. I’m tasked with re-creating it. While I’m not a complete noob to WP, I’ve not been able to determine through your literature just how your integration works… I need the following, and wonder if this is possible to do usimg PMP…

    1. Import existing AW list as subscribers to our WP site, giving them access to the restricted pages.
1b. Generate email with login credentials to the list members after import.

    2. Use the AW Web Form Plugin to build our list and have them be subscribers to the WP site (again, sending email credentials)

    3. Additionally use your subscribe mechanism and have it add to the AW list (Reason: AW WFP allows only ONE widget. Our theme has widget slots for all areas.)

If the answer is yes… you’ve most likely made a sale.

Greatly appreciate your time on this!

Yes. It will take some work. We’ll help you through this in our member forums. Here’s the basic pointers.

    > 1. Import existing AW list as subscribers to our WP site, giving them access to the restricted pages.

Use this plugin along with the Import Users From CSV plugin:

    > 1b. Generate email with login credentials to the list members after import.

If you import the users with the password column blank, a random password will be generated for them. Instead of emailing this to them, we typically send users a link to the “lost password” page to set their own passwords.

    2. Use the AW Web Form Plugin to build our list and have them be subscribers to the WP site (again, sending email credentials)

I’m not familiar with that one, but we have our own plugin to integrate with AWeber. It can be setup so all WP users are added to lists/etc:

    3. Additionally use your subscribe mechanism and have it add to the AW list (Reason: AW WFP allows only ONE widget. Our theme has widget slots for all areas.)

Yeah, use the PMPro Aweber plugin.

    Good luck!

ok, finally getting around to this. A couple questions…

    1. With the PMP CSV plugin, activated, I’m not seeing “Users > Import from CSV” in the WordPress dashboard, as the plugin page at https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/third-party-integration/pmpro-import-users-csv/ states. What’s up with that?

    2. For the PMP Aweber integration plugin (https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/third-party-integration/pmpro-aweber-integration/), Where do I locate my AWeber Authorization Code?

    > What’s up with that?
You need both the Import Users from CSV plugin and the PMPro Import Users From CSV addon installed.

    > Where do I locate my AWeber Authorization Code?
Under Settings > PMPro AWeber, you should see this message at the top of the page:
To get started, you must authorize this website to access your AWeber account. Click here to authorize this site to access your AWeber account. Then copy the “authorization code” given into the field below and click “Save Settings” to continue.

    Hope that clears things up!
