Regarding the image upload

  • hi there,

    The problem surfaced when I try to upload images (dashboard –> media), their title would become (“cof” or “edf”), previously it was the same as file`s name.

    I also tried to use plugin “Format media titles” but nothing changed, I still get the same.

    Would appreciate some feedback.

  • That sounds very strange. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Thanks for your comment. Tried all the steps but unfortunately without any success.

    That is strange, indeed, because just a few days ago it was working properly. Nothing has been done since. Is it possible to see how wordpress is processing that file name change? Where those letter “edf” “cof” are coming from.
