    Hi,

I also have an issue with redirecting and regenerating of existing sites and posts.
changing the permalink the way I want, works properly but when I want to reopen the page, there’s only this 404 error.
Even when I deactivate the plugin, I can’t change some of my pages back to the original permalink. The created permalink still exists even when it’s not there anymore.
That frustrates me a lot but I want to give it another try to work.
    Could you help me?
I can send you further informations on the website itself.

    Thanks in advance
    adrienne

    Hi adrienne

Thanks for contacting and reporting the issue. Sorry to have it on your site.

From when the issues starts occurring? after updating the today’s release or what?
How long are you using this plugin?

Even when I deactivate the plugin, I can’t change some of my pages back to the original permalink.

There is some other thing which is stopping you as after deactivating the plugin, none of the plugin can do anything. So, how this stops you.

Let me know more info so, maybe i can assist you further.

    Thanks,
    Sami

    Hi Sami,

thank you for your quick reply.
I downloaded the latest version today directly after release and worked directly on changing the permalinks. First I liked the plugin because it does exactly what I need to do except for the error of course.
After I realized that the pages have 404 errors and are gone I tried to change everything back until I deactivated everything. Only 2 of the pages (from only 5-7) still have the error. There is nothing different than on the other sites.
What also occured after installing and deactivating, that I couldn’t change permalinks on the default WP setting page to another setting. the only setting that works now is page_id.
Please let me know what you need to know to help me.
    Thanks,
    Adrienne

    Hi Adrienne

Are you feasible to provide me the site access to view the issue by myself and provide you better guidance on it?

    Thanks,
    Sami

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
