regeneration stuck at 34%

I’m regenerating custom permalinks in Tools and it is stuck forever at 34% (for hours). Only some of the links have been changed, and others the same. I’m trying to regenerate post URIs. (mydomain.com/posts/ -> mydomain.com/writings)

some are posts and others are writings.
