Region is required – resume creations page

  • Hi,

    I would like to eliminate the use and field for regions in the profile/resume creations page. I’ve used CSS to hide the region field but when a potential candidate visits the site and fills out all the info he still gets an error “Region is a required field”. How do I turn this off?

    I only want to use regions to sort jobs, not candidates.

  • You can edit it with WP Job Manager Field Editor but they are building a new version for the Select2 change in the most recent WPJM upgrade so would wait for that to come out before trying it. Also although you can change that field to optional or disable it I’m not sure if the Resume plugin ‘needs’ that field in the database to function properly.
