    Hello…
    First of all i am sorry as i am an amateur to these things. I am setting up a classified ads website with awpcp plugin. I have a fully customized homepage with links and categories leading to wordpress where all posts from users will be viewable. On my website only registered users can post an ad. Is there a way for a new user to click on ”Post Ad” icon on my fully customize homepage and directs him to registration page of my wordpress and immediately post his ad ? i want the new user when his trying to post an ad, to register also at the same time . Do i need only the BP module for this or do i have to do something extra?

    I can help here–no problem.

    What you want to do is place a link or button on your custom homepage to your Place Ad page. That is usually site.com/awpcp/place-ad/ where site.com is your domain and awpcp is the Classifieds page name. The real names of your classified pages will be found under Classifieds->Settings, Classified Pages tab.

    You’ll also need to turn on “Require Registration” on the REgistration tab of the Settings area for AWPCP. And you’ll need to allow users to register on your site under General->Settings (be sure to check “Membership”)

    Once all of those are on, then clicking the Place Ad link on the homepage for an unregistered, unlogged-in user will go to the registration page telling them to login or sign up. You shouldn’t need BuddyPress for this much of it.
