I installed your toolkit and have been working on log in functionality. I set up the login/logout links and asked for one to the register page. The link takes me to the standard wordpress register page and does not have any of my theme styling on it. Is this by design? The log in page is nicely coordinated with my theme after using the Front End Login, but not the register page.

That’s by design. Sorry, we haven’t built anything for a registration page at this point. For our own LearnDash sites we typically use other plugins for registration and profile management (e.g. Gravity Forms with User Registration add-on) so this wasn’t high on our priority list.

We have done some development on registration capabilities but we don’t have an ETA for when or if that will be released.

    Hi,

If we look at the process flow from someone going to a Product page, making a purchase through (Woocommerce in our case), at what point after this are you suggesting someone is registering to login to Learn Dash?

    Thanks for your clarification.

If the flow is through WooCommerce, the user will be logged in automatically and directed to a thank you page following purchase. There is no login in that workflow, but you do need to get them to the course they just purchased. This could be via customizing the Thank You page template to include a link to enrolled courses, an email with instructions, redirecting users to a list of enrolled courses, etc.

    Hi,

Ok…the Thank You page is an option to continue the flow of activities.

They still need to register someplace though so they have a username and password to login. Sounds like we’ll need to send them to a registration page from the Thank You page. Make sense?

That approach doesn’t work at all… For course sales, guest checkout should absolutely be disabled in WooCommerce and users must log in or create an account on the checkout page. There is no alternative when selling LearnDash courses via WooCommerce. If you allowed guest checkout, there would be no way to associate users with course purchases.

    Hi,

    Thank you for confirming.

    Much appreciated.
