Register user that has bought as a guest

Really disappointing that a relevant questions like this doesn’t get one single question on the support forum :/

I’m pretty sure you just need to select the option to Automatically generate username from customer email and automatically generate password.

This way, it doesn’t require any interaction from the user to create an account. Also, you need to disable guest checkout.

We also wanted to do this. We did disable guest account already, but older users that want to create an account would have no way to do it.

This should be possible even without making the username and password self generated.
