Registered usernames are random letters

Could you please let us know how these users are registered? I meant, have you used any plugin to provide the registration functionality?

They are registered by going to [Forum registration]page. I use BBPress, but they said that the registration page is by wordpress. So, I don’t think I use any plug in to provide the registration functionality.

Sorry I didn’t receive notification of your previous update.

I did have a look at the registration form and I am finding it to be a form from bbPress only. We will need to check what username is being passed to be created?

If there is any updated available for bbPress, please check with that.

I don’t think. I am sure it is from bbPress as the input classes are having ‘bbp’ as a prefix in them.

Regardless of the method which creates the form, if you have registration open, then you will get bots and other spam registrations like this from time to time. You can ignore them, clean them up manually, or consider installing a plugin like ReCaptcha or similar to reduce their frequency.
