• How do I allow registered users create and post their posts on my blog?
Isn’t something that should be allowed using Yes or No buttons?

    Hi Charles,

    Thanks for using Ignite!

Most likely, this means the registered users have the Subscriber user role. You can visit the User Roles menu and upgrade their role to Contributor, Author, or Editor if you’d like to give them the ability to publish their own posts.

    Thank you Ben… who knew… not I ??
I changed all the user roles to Author and we’ll see how it goes.

A user has created a new post so it appears that this feature is now functioning. However… I added a comment to this post but there was no toggle block functioning available in order to insert hyperlinks. ???

Glad to hear that’s working for you so far.

The default comment form only accepts plain text for security and spam protection reasons. However, there are ways you can make the comments more robust.

wpDiscuz is really good and adds tons of features to the comments: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wpdiscuz/
