• OK, so I’d like to have registered users write their own drafts. But if I promote users they can see all drafts (and private posts, of course) in my blog, under the “Manage” tab. (I write things in advance; they’re scheduled to get posted, one post a day).

I’d like registered users to see only their own drafts.

What should I tweak for that?

    Many thanks.

Ah, my bad for not trying things out properly. Level 1 sees the names of drafts, but cannot see the drafts themselves. Very nice, thanks!

Hmmm… I can’t remember, but one of the two (draft vs private) was supposed to ONLY be visible to the author — I’d assume that would be ‘draft’, but the nomenclature is iffy.

Private posts then are things only registered/logged-in users at or above the poster’s user level should be able to see.

I don’t have my coding box up, so can’t double-check that all… But the differentiation needs to be made much clearer (and any visibility bugs fixed… you shouldn’t see titles if you can’t read them!).
