Registration and Login Feature

Could you please direct me to a sample tutorial on how your registration or login feature work? OR you can just tell me. I am trying to build an application form such that users should either register or login first before being able to fill out the application form. Once users register and start filling out the application, they should have the ability to complete the application at a later date by logging out and logging back in when needed. Is this something your form can do?
