When I attempt to do a test sign up, I get the following warning. It only goes away when I disable Wordfence as my firewall. Even when I added this url to Wordfence as a ‘friendly’ url, or put the firewall on or off, it still failed. I don’t like having Wordfence disabled, is this something you are aware of and have a remedy for?

The script below is what else get’s generated by the ‘Registration Attempt Blocked’ response.

This site requires a security token created when the page loads for all registration attempts. Please ensure JavaScript is enabled and try again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there,
    Thank you for contacting us!

Could you please explain a bot more where the issue is?
I mean, it only happens when you are trying to register? Only when submitting the affiliate form?
I don’t fully understand the whole process you are following to trigger the error.

    Please let us know.
    Have a nice day!

Thank you for your time, closing this now as I have found a work around.

    I’m having the same problem.

When competing the affiliate registration form, the following message is presented after submission:

REGISTRATION ATTEMPT BLOCKED: This site requires a security token created when the page loads for all registration attempts. Please ensure JavaScript is enabled and try again.

@nigelrs how did you get around this problem?

Cannot recall it exactly, I think I disabled Wordfence, set it up on Slice then renabled it; it was something similar to that.

@hectorgc the error is being caused by Wordfence blocking the javascript.

Can you either point me to how to resolve the issue or let me know the URL and parameter(s) being called, so that I can whitelist?

I am unable to use the “Training Mode” because the form does not appear for anyone already logged into the site (including admin), so am unable to allow it the traditional way.

    REF: https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/options/#whitelist

    Thank you.
