• Hello,

To be GDPR compliant we would like to register users of a partner program using an invitation by e-mail. This way the user would explicit consent for the data processing. Nevertheless that registration page is not intended to be public.

How can this process be implemented?

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hello @pchenriques,

Easiest way is to setup a password protected page and send then the password to it in the email. To make it not relevant if they share passwords, you could also allow only invited emails to register on your website.
The code from this page should help with that, it does something else but you can get some inspiration out of it.

    Regards.

Nevertheless, a “registration by invitation” would a great feature to implement in the plugin, specially now to comply with GDPR… ??
