I installed the free Profile Builder version to assist in a challenge with user registration on WP Job Manager, if it works we’d like to update to the Pro version if it will allow us to create two separate logins – one for an employer role and one for a candidate role.

I have now created the registration for the employer role using the free version – but its a bit buggy. I encounter two issues so far – firstly the user is supposed to be redirected to the Home Page on registration, but it either gets stuck on the green message box confirming that an email has been sent to confirm the user account, or once registered, the user needs to keep accessing the account from the email. Its not allowing the user to log in. I am not sure what I’m doing wrong, but this is so close to solving our issue and I’m holding thumbs we can implement the pro version to create a second separate user role and account.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @henriette1234,

I want to mention that we’re not allowed to speak about the paid/pro versions here, so in case you have specific questions about the paid functionalities then we can continue the conversation here: https://www.cozmoslabs.com/support/.

Now, regarding the issues you can encounter with the registration since these functionalities are available in the free version of the plugin, then this is the correct place to investigate those issues:

firstly the user is supposed to be redirected to the Home Page on registration, but it either gets stuck on the green message box confirming that an email has been sent to confirm the user account or once registered, the user needs to keep accessing the account from the email. Its not allowing the user to log in”

-> If you want to redirect the user after the registration to a different page, then you can easily achieve this while following the information from here: https://www.cozmoslabs.com/docs/profile-builder/shortcodes/#Redirect_users_after_Registration. Basically in the redirect_url=” parameter you will need to add the actual URL of the page where you want to redirect the user. Now from your message, I understand that you’re also using the Email Confirmation functionality, in this case, after the user confirms their email address then they will be redirected back to your site to the specific page you’ve selected in Profile Builder -> Settings -> General Settings -> Email Confirmation Page.

Let me know if you still encounter some issues after checking the above information.

    Best regards,
