registration confirmation mail

  • I need a plugin that will allow me to send a mail to the new users registering on my site..These users after registering on the site will get an email as per there email id feeded by them at registration .This mail will be having a link ..clicking on which will activate these users.

    Can anybody provide me help on this isuue

  • The file wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php contains functions that can be re-declared in a plugin, meaning you can change what they do.

    One of them is wp_new_user_notification, which is the standard email sent out when someone registers. So, create a plugin with a function named wp_new_user_notification in it, except make it do what you want it to do.
