  • This doesn’t look like a WP error I think.
How are you outbound mail relaying set up? MX records?
Is ‘host’ in ‘host.******.com’ the actual name of this machine?

I run a Gallery2 site and several other websites that have email notification. The mail.domain.com server has always worked with all the others. I do not know where host.domain.com comes from. it must be rerouting somewhere. Any ideas?
