Registration for Wordfence Free

    Can you use the same free registration key on multiple sites? As manager of many WordPress sites, I am hoping that I don’t have to get a key for each site – what a nightmare that would be if I have to each client involved in the process.

    This leads me to my next question – if the same free registration key can’t be used on multiple sites, can I use the same email to register new keys?

    Hi @mssbee, thanks for your questions!

    Each site does require its own registration key. You can sign up for multiple site keys using the same email address as there’s no limit on how many a single email address can configure. It’s just the process itself that’s changed, with no further limitations. Existing free site keys created before the change will continue to work.

    You can utilize Wordfence Central for free to manage security across all sites you’re responsible for in one dashboard. There’s no necessity to do this, though.
