Registration Form

As a new user, I would like to find a plugin that will allow me to have users to register for email subscriptions where the admin can define one particular post/page that only registered users can see.

I looked at subscribe2 but it’s not what I am looking for or maybe I just don’t understand it well enough. It seems to be a subscription for for new posts/pages which is not what I want. It needs to behave like an email subscription.

I am fully aware that I should not use WP as a way to send mass emails but this is just a small company that just wants to start a list and once it grows then they will move it over to Campaign Monitor and use the plugin for that.

Any suggestions as to which plugin I can use in the meantime?
