Registration Form does not log user in

Hello,
I’m having an issue with my registration form when redirecting from another page. When a restricted page redirects the user to register or sign in, when the user registers an account they are not automatically logged in. Instead, an account is created and the user stays on the login/signup page. I would like them to be directed to the original page they were heading to.

Do you have a caching plugin active?
Please try to exclude your login and register pages from the cache and see if this issue goes away.
This issue can be also due to some security plugins, try to do a conflict test so we can rule out other conflicts. Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.Regards.
