Registration Forum Only

    I wish to have wordpress main page operate with no member access as I have right now
    none can post or join to post, does the forum allow the admin to set forum access to write/read only in forum ?

    I want visitors to see the main pages and read them but not comment,
    but I do want the forum to have that possibility.\
