We are unable to reproduce this scenario at our end. You would like to try keeping only our plugin active for a while just to check if that makes any difference. What sub-option you have chosen in the Registration redirection option in Advanced Configuration section at Super Socializer > Social Login page in admin?

I have the same issue with my site as well. It seems to be intermittent but it fails more so than not. If I click to log in it will open the popup and load my site inside the popup. This is the same result for both Facebook and Twitter and for both registration and login.

For your question on redirection, I’ve tried both Same page where user logged in and Homepage and the same bug happens.

As mentioned above, we are unable to reproduce this scenario at our end. Most probably, this appears to be conflict with some other plugin. You would like to try keeping only our plugin active, just to check if that makes any difference.
