Registration link not working

I just double checked, and I cannot re-create the problem on my test system. Although we may have to work on some detailed debugging, since I haven’t seen anything like this before, let me start with some basic information:

• Version of WordPress
• Version of jonradio Private Site Plugin
• List of other Plugins you have currently Activated
• Current Theme Name and Version
• Tell me how you got the “unusual” login screen (was it part of the Theme?)

I’ll try to install all this on my Test System and see if I can re-create the problem.

But, it is late here, so I won’t be able to do this until tomorrow morning my time (U.S. Mountain time).

Thank you for such a complete response. This will take some time, but I will report my progress back here on this thread.

Progress Report #1:

I have successfully:

1. Built a new clean install of WordPress 3.6.1 in the root of a domain, like yours
2. Installed the same version of the Theme you are using
3. Installed and activated all of the plugins you listed
4. Adjusted Permalinks to satisfy BuddyPress
5. Recreated your exact problem

Unless I make a lucky guess, it is going to take some time to figure out which Plugin is the problem/conflict with jonradio Private Site, and what can be done about it. BuddyPress is “the odds on favourite” as they say in horse racing.

On another test system, with only the jonradio Private Site and BuddyPress plugins activated, and the default Twenty Thirteen theme, I have also re-created this problem.

That means it is definitely a conflict with the BuddyPress plugin.

I’ll see what I can do.

BuddyPress intervenes on Register links and redirects to /redirect/ instead of the WordPress standard /wp-login.php?action=register which is what jonradio Private Site is looking for.

I should have a new version of the plugin that addresses this issue within the next 24 hours (or less).

Version 2.4 has now been released to address BuddyPress Registration on both single site and WordPress Networks (“Multisite”).
