    Hello,

This error occurs during registration: “REGISTRATION BLOCKED: The registration request was blocked because it was flagged as spam. Please try again or contact the site owner for help.”

I guess this is an IP based error. Is there a way to blacklist this IP?

Hi @loopforever, thanks for reaching out.

This error shows when users are receiving a low CAPTCHA score. There was an update at plugin version 7.5.11 that fixed the potential for reCAPTCHA scores to not be recorded, but I’m working on the assumption that you have the latest version of Wordfence and other plugins?

Also ensure you’re not running a non-default WordPress/WooCommerce registration page, as our Login Security features are designed to function with these and may experience problems on custom forms.

In terms of the score itself, we aren’t privy to why Google rate some humans as bots (or vice versa) but, if you’re not using custom forms, it’s worth trying to log in with Wordfence as the only enabled plugin with a default theme such as Twenty Twenty-Three. If there’s a plugin conflict or a problem with custom code in your theme that’s preventing code from running properly at the time of submission, this should make it clear. Of course, seeing the reCAPTCHA logo on the page hints that the scripts on initial page load are likely to be fine.

A “reCAPTCHA human/bot threshold score” setting in Wordfence > Login Security > Settings of at least 0.7 should allow most humans visiting your site through as intended so it could be worth adjusting this number too, to see if anything changes in successful login/registrations.

Let me know how you get on!
    Peter.

    Thank you for your answer.
I realized I mistyped what I really wanted to ask is: Is there a way to delete an IP from the blacklist?

    • Plugins are up to date and in the latest version.
    • Registration/Login page is the default page. Also the logo is visible.
    • In case of conflict I should get an error am I wrong? Debug is active and I don’t get any errors. I also checked with plugins like Query Monitor.
    • I updated the reCAPTCHA human/bot threshold score.

Additionally, the Fraud Score for the ip address I am using is currently 27(so, Low Risk).

Despite all this, I still look like a bot. Even when logging in, I always get the like warning: VERIFICATION REQUIRED: Additional…
    Last CAPTCHA: 0.3

I don’t know, I guess there is no solution. Because there are many similar topics on the internet. Maybe reCAPTCHA v2 is still a better option
