Registration Moderation Not Working

    Hi

    Really hope someone can help me, as this is driving me insane!

    Great plugin, but for some reason when I try and register and fill in the custom form, it says:

    Congratulations! Your registration was successful.

    You may now log in using the password that was emailed to you.

    I won’t the admin to approve all registration first, I have ‘Notify admin‘ checked and ‘Moderate registration‘ checked but the user can still login themselves after registration.

    Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

    Have you tested this and found it to be the case, or are you going by what the message says?

    The message is the default successful registration message. Moderated registration is not the default configuration and you should change the successful registration message to reflect what you want to tell the user (for example, that registrations need to be approved and they will notified when their account has been approved).

    I suspect that is the case here. It would be highly unusual for users to be able to log in when moderated registration is set. There are no current open/known issues in the plugin in this area and there have been no changes to the registration/approval process for quite some time.

    (There is a warning message in the admin that should display if this message is not changed and I did notice that there is an issue in 3.1.x where it may not display. We’ll address that in the next release, but that’s just a message suggesting you change the default message; it has nothing to do with the actual approval/login process.)

    I was just about to post an update. yes you are right, it is now all sorted, i was not receiving emails as well but I have also sorted this out now.
