Registration not yet approved by admin, but user can still send messages?

  • Hi Michael,

    Thank you for the BP-Registration plugin.

    I came to notice that there are some menu entries to which a none approved user cannot access, which is something great.
    However, he can still send messages to other active(approved) users.
    We are using BuddyBoss theme and platform.

    Can you please advise a way of restricting access to the “Messages” menu item for any none approved user?

    Our BuddyBoss support is minimal at best and mostly around what it just inherits from our work with BuddyPress core. We haven’t actively tried to make sure it also hides ALL of BuddyBoss’ UI elements and whatnot.

    So this is an edgecase in a sense that we just don’t have coverage for in the current version of the plugin.
