Registration Page – Change Privacy and Policy

    Greetings,

    On the registration page to create a new account, next to the actual Register My Account button is the , “By checking this box you agree to the sites Privacy and Policy”

    I would like to just change the text itself from “Privacy and Policy” to say “Terms of Use”, is there an easy way to make that modification?

    Ive attempted to locate a file where this change would be made but have failed to do so.

    Hey @bri2400,

    Hope you’re well.

    The best way to do that is by using the language files of the plugin. But we have a small bug about that so that solution won’t work for the current version.

    You should open wp-content/plugins/membership/app/view/shortcode/class-ms-view-shortcode-registeruser.php and change line 238 as you wish. But remember when the plugin updated this changes will be reset.

    But after the update, you can change that text with language files, so then it will not reset with an update.
