I was wondering if anyone could help me. I downloaded the membership plugin, i followed all the directions, but the registration page doesn’t show up. I need the registration page so that people can sign in and download pictures to my site. if you can help or know of a widget that can turn your site into a gallery let me know.

  • Which plug-in exactly? Can you provide a link and the exact name? There are numerous membership plug-ins out there.

and if you know how to get rid of that padding behind my widgets let me know please. My theme is Magazine Basic

I’ve added some tags to your post so the plug-in developers are more likely to see this. Not sure why you’re using three different membership plug-ins, though, maybe there are some conflicts between them.

For your issue with the theme you can post in Magazine Basic’s own support forum over at Bavotasan’s site: https://themes.bavotasan.com/support/categories/magazine-basic

For your question about galleries, WordPress has a built-in gallery, or you can check out some of the many gallery plug-ins. See also:

Thats what i was thinking, that maybe there is a conflict, but even when i try it alone, it seems like nothing happens still. I guess what ill try to do is just deactivate all of them and then start from scratch with one.

It would be best to direct your questions to one specific plugin at a time. You listed 3 above and then when you went down to one, you refered to it as “it.” That doesn’t really tell anyone which plugin you are refering to.

If it is wp-members, the most probable issue with the registration page not displaying the form is copy/pasting the shortcode from the pdf – the encoding is not ascii so the quotes don’t render. It’s best to type it out.

O.k the widget in question is the WP-Members. Im trying to set it up where you need a membership in order to upload pictures. But for some reason my “Register” page will not show up. Based on what you said, should i delete the “short-code” i set up?

If you simply copy/pasted the shortcode for the register page from the pdf of the users guide, then yes, you delete it and just type it out. Copy/pasting from the pdf results in improperly encoded double quotes.

o.k that worked thank you ??
