registration page modification

  • Hi there! I’m working on a site using the Evolve theme and BuddyPress. I’m hoping to find out how to do two things:

    1. Remove the sidebar from the registration page (make it full width).
    2. Edit the text on the registration page (replace the default text that says “Registering for this site is easy…”).

    Most sources that I’ve been able to find suggest editing a register.php file, but Evolve doesn’t appear to have such a file. What would be the best way to accomplish these things?

    Just a little bump in hopes that there might be someone out there with insight about either of these things. It looks like the theme was updated less than a week ago, so I’m wondering if there’s someone out there maintaining the theme who might have ideas?

    I’ve tried searching through all of the PHP files in Evolve’s folders/subfolders.

    Are there any kind and knowledgeable humans in Evolve Theme Land who can help?
