Registration Submit button

Hello there,

What I am trying to do is make an alert message. So when the user completes the registration form and hits the “Register” button to show him an alert message saying “You have been registered successfully..bla..bla” Unfortunately, as a noobie I have no idea how to do that, can you give me any clue how to do it or at least how to start it?
