    Hi

I keep getting fatal errors on a site using OceanWP – The error logs show the error every few minutes and I get the WP ‘technical issue’ email every day.

The site does appear to be working as expected so this is more annoying than anything else – Any ideas please?

    Error log as follows:

[21-Mar-2023 10:21:10 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_error_message() on array in /home/XXXXXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ocean-extra/includes/client-migration/class-fs-client-migration-abstract.php:419

  • Hello @monowebdesign,

I fully examined the issue you have raised on this topic and could not see it on my end; also, ?we have not received any similar reports so far.

If you cannot access wp-admin, there are other ways to deactivate plugins: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/.

    Summary: you can use FTP and rename the current theme from the root of the website / wp-content / theme / {{current theme name}} and deactivate any plugins with rename plugin folder(e.g, add -t) from the root of the website / wp-content / plugins {{Plugin Name}}

After resolving access to the WP Admin, please tell us a little about the versions of plugins you use. To do this, please go to WP Dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info Tab and click on the button Copy site info to clipboard. You can send the information as code here or upload them to https://pastebin.com/ and get an exclusive link.

We’ll find out what happened on your website with that error message.

Note: you can ask your host provider to return the backup.

    Please keep us posted.

    Best Regards

    Thanks

I can access the site without issue, I get an email once per day saying the site is experiencing technical issues and the error log shows the error every few minutes.

I’ve tried deactivating all plugins and the issue is still there – here is the link to the site info – https://pastebin.com/uHzFM0HQ

    Thanks

    Dave

    Hello @monowebdesign,

I can see you are using the latest version of Ocean Extra, but the theme is not in the latest version.

Please update the theme to the latest version and recheck the issue.

    Hi Shahin

As per your screenshots, the installed parent theme is already the latest version – 3.4.2

I have a child theme installed also – I have switched to the OceanWP parent theme and the issue still exists.

    Thanks

    Dave

    Hello @monowebdesign,

I’m sorry. I posted the wrong screenshot. You are right; both versions are the same and in the latest version.
