I am using your great plugin on multiple sites. On one where my install directory is different than my home page URL, I changed the login page via settings but then couldn’t get to it no matter what variations I tried. So I deleted the plugin via FTP and reinstalled the original htaccess file.

When I get the plugin again and activate I get bumped out to a “page not found” error and can’t get back in. It seems that the site is holding on to some of the setting from the original install.

I upgraded the WP version to 3.8.1 and reinstalled that but still having the same issue.

    Help?

If you don’t mind entering the configuration for the AIOWPS plugin again and if you are familiar with PHPMyAdmin, you can do the following.

    1) log in to your DB using PHPMyAdmin.

    2) Go to the WordPress “options” table.

    3) Then look for the entry called “aio_wp_security_configs” and delete it.

    4) Then activate the AIOWPS plugin again.

Me too having this problem but only one site. I tried the recommendation seems still getting error 404. The only way to log back-in is wp-admin but via on my computer and network. I tried on different computer and network both changing login page url under brute force and wp-admin getting error 404.

Worked for me but not without making a major error. I deleted an entry that had a name very similar to “aio_wp_security_configs” but wasn’t exact. My bad. Oooof.

After I resolved that, I followed the above to the letter and it worked. Thank you Plugin Author. This plugin is beyond great.

Hi @sammymaudlin, that is great news that you were able to resolve your issue. If you don’t mind and there is nothing else to do with this issue can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you kindly.
